The Rev. Mo Lederman
I am a native Nutmegger and serve through the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. I am a graduate of Providence College, BA Theology and a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School. Ordained in 2004, I served as the Associate Rector and Chaplain of the Day School at St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church in New Haven for nine years. From 2015 to 2021, I was the Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Guilford. I have also served the diocese as a member of the Commission on Ministry, Chair of the South Central Leadership Team, Chair of the Women’s Ministry Network, a Camp Washington Chaplain and Retreat Leader, and Chair for the Committee for the Formation of All the Baptized.

Currently I am a diocesan consultant, working with newly ordained clergy and parishes/church organizations in need. Through TryTank, alongside the Rev. Rachel Field, I lead an online support group for newly ordained clergy throughout the national Episcopal Church. I am also the online liturgist for the Episcopal Preaching Foundation. I lead retreats for parish groups and vestries, and have recently finished working with the Ekklesia Ballet Company on their work, Body and Land. I am also pursuing a Certificate in Communications and Digital Media through the Center for New Media at CT State Community College - Middlesex.

When not serving parishes or taking classes I teach a cooking class for homeschooled students. I enjoy spending time with family, hiking, baking, knitting, singing in a community choir, and blending and drinking tea.
